It's been a while!

Oh my goodness, I've not blogged for rather a long time, and now there's this new streamline blogger!  Well, in for a penny, in for a pound, let's see how I get on!

I cannot believe how quickly the months are passing by, May arrives tomorrow, how did that happen?  The weather is by no means spring like but I am optimistic that we will be enjoying warmer (and drier) weather soon!

I have been dabbling with several different crafts of late.  I've been making bracelets, dabbling with a bit of altered art and back to using my Promarkers to colour digi-stamps to go onto cards.

Here are some of the bracelets I have been making.

I also attended a make and take at The Papeterie hosted by the very talented Kath Stewart .  Kath was demonstrating Paperartsy's Fresco Finish Paints and Paperartsy stamps.  I did leave there very inspired!  I made some purchases (obviously, well I just had to) and this is what I have been making with the paints that I bought.

Let's not forget some of the cards I've been making, not many I must say, but getting back into the swing of it especially after after purchasing some Flexmarkers after watching Debbie Glennie demonstrate at The Papeterie - very talented lady, I must say, makes it look so easy!

I have used the same image here, but two different colour themes, accompanied with some Craftwork Cards papers, candi and sentiment bands.

I have also recently purchased some Saturated Canary digi-stamps, I love her images.  I have purchased Beckie, Belle, Dorothy, Lioness and Mad.

Here are some cards I have made with these images and using othere bits and pieces from my craft stash.  I've even been colouring my ribbon with inks and promarkers!

 This is Mad

Meet Dorothy

... and Lioness!

Sometimes, however, after I've coloured the images in, I struggle to decide which papers to use to accompany image, maybe I should select the papers first and then colour to match papers!

Well, that's me brought the last few months up to date (briefly)!  I am looking forward to an Altered Art night at The Papeterie on Thursday, I shall update my blog with the results of the evening!
